Review on Exploring the Stearns Adult Watersport Classic Series Vest: Comfort and Safety for Water Enthusiasts by Brian Unruh

PFDs are not known for their luxurious and comfortable fit, so this has historically lived up to some and 'rental companies' use. I'm a decent swimmer so I bought this to comply with water safety regulations (although it's intended for gentle streams or lakes). One problem is chafing at the edges of the armholes when canoeing or kayaking. Another problem occurs when attempting to exit the boat/kayak using the stairs. It is when you are most likely to fall into the water that the vest's abrasion and containment performance is at its worst. I don't know how to solve this problem, but maybe someone will come up with a more ergonomic vest. In short, it works as expected and the price is ok.
