Good product but the list is not correct.

Great youth waistcoat from Stearns. I love this brand because it's charming and reliable. However, I did not order a youth vest. I ordered an adult vest. I recommend finding a list to specifically select the size.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

On the smaller side, plus so-so quality

Vest is adjustable but runs small. Definitely not suitable for a tall man. Also, the vest I received was missing stitching at the bottom so I will have to have it repaired or send it back as it is not safe to use in the condition it was delivered. upset.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Good value for money. for life jackets and vests

I bought this for my 13 year old who weighs about 100 pounds. He was in a condition where a youth size would fit him, but there was no room for growth so he had to buy a larger one. He got it working, set it up as little as possible and he hasn't complained about it. I assume it will work for average adults once they adjust. The construction seems good so it was good value for money.

Pros
  • Absolutely brilliant!
Cons
  • Negative Gift

Not perfect but worth the price

My fiance and I bought these for our kayaks. We were looking for something cheap as the law requires a life jacket in a kayak. I'm actually very happy with that. The seams have come apart a bit, but otherwise great! There's nothing unusual about them, but they get the job done. My fiancé has actually worn it quite a bit and (apart from the loose threads) it has held up very well. Would definitely buy again.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Can't remember

Helps Mom Feel Better!

Any product that can help a mother feel better and more confident when her children are swimming freely in the open water is a WIN. This vest is comfortable, my son was able to swim and move freely in it without feeling too bulky. It's easy for him to move around and get in and out of the boat. He was completely comfortable and easily floated in the water when he wanted to take a swim break and just relax. Be sure to check your child's weight guidelines before purchasing to ensure the correct…

This is a great vest for swimming or boating

This is a great vest for swimming or boating. I was on the lake for several days and used the vest carefully. It has a lot of buoyancy and can be used in the water for a long time. It gave me peace of mind as I swam on some floating rafts in over 5ft of water to relax on the PS. For added security/protection I added some MTI crotch straps which really help keep this vest still in place after a tight comfortable adjustment which makes me wonder why adult vests don't come standard with them. MTI…

I'm definitely going to swim, but my tan lines are going to be fun!

Nothing special. The price is good enough to make them worth buying and I'd buy more if I needed them, but I don't expect these to be the most durable life jackets I've seen. The versatile cut keeps you alive but not on trend. We bought 2 of these, one for me and one for my wife. She is 5ft 2in 115lbs and this vest "fits" but is definitely a tad big. I'm 6ft 1in and 205lbs (muscled if you don't mind) and it fits me, my belly button down. I'm definitely going to swim, but my tan lines are going…

good spare part for group activities

I believe the label identifies this vest as a water sports vest. As a substitute, this is normal for guests rowing as part of a group. The combination of fit and buoyancy would make me very uncomfortable using it in adverse conditions where help or rescue could be delayed. In these situations, I had to make sure that this vest would keep the unconscious victim's head above the water. (But its tendency to "curl up" toward the wearer could serve that function - to lull the wearer's head…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Quick start guide

As expected, no surprises

PFDs are not known for their luxurious and comfortable fit, so this has historically lived up to some and 'rental companies' use. I'm a decent swimmer so I bought this to comply with water safety regulations (although it's intended for gentle streams or lakes). One problem is chafing at the edges of the armholes when canoeing or kayaking. Another problem occurs when attempting to exit the boat/kayak using the stairs. It is when you are most likely to fall into the water that the vest's abrasion

Pros
  • Hard wearing finish
Cons
  • Damaged
