I love the size of this little bar board - perfect for slicing apples, lemons and other small jobs that don't require a large chopping board. However, there is a board. It works fine, so I overcame it. This simplifies warehousing. The serrated paring knife is efficient and also has a handy size. The apple slicing tool requires more upper body strength than mine. I'll ask my husband to try it, but I gave up and switched to a knife pretty quickly. Luckily this works well.
