The rear rock face is probably the gecko's favorite element - yes, she climbed it shortly after moving in. We moved the gecko to this larger enclosure (with sand for the bottom) now that he is bigger and older and she loves the extra space. She became much more active. The locking mechanism on the lid was tested as she climbed the "rock face" and the locking mechanism on the front swinging doors was tested as she attempted to climb the width of the "lip" separating the opening doors of the sturdy, solid ground. No questions. There was no way out, but the gecko was definitely checking the device. Two thumbs up!
