Dewalt makes a good product, but it breaks.
This drill is a replacement for a drill I bought a few years ago. This is not a drill I use every day. In fact, it has not been used for several months. When I needed it, the "chuck" drill chuck would get stuck in the open position and no matter how hard we tried we couldn't get it to the "lock" position. The drill motor still worked perfectly, just couldn't install drill bits. The repair cost was more than the cost of a replacement drill, so I bought a new one. I love Dewalt products but they are not as bulletproof and reliable as advertised.
