I recently got into the woodworking business and bought a used miter saw. The angle on the saw isn't very accurate, so it's difficult to make a perfect square. I was very upset and decided to buy a protractor miter saw. I'm so glad I found this protractor and can finally get an accurate angle with my miter saw. The swivel runs very smoothly with good friction to hold the angle during the measurement. There are two scales with laser engraving. One for the outside corner and one for the inside scale, which is nice to have both. The engraved scale in contrasting color is easy to read. This protractor is essential when doing crown shaping, trimming and other corner work.
