I only had this hitch a day before I needed it to pick up a trailer 800 miles away. I went to put it on the truck and it was immediately apparent that the entire weld was misaligned and tilted to one side. I attached bars to it and it confirmed what I was seeing, so I checked to make sure the hitch on my new truck wasn't at fault and then called Camco. It was closing time but the supervisor picked up the phone and told me to call a guy in the morning and he would get the main orb out of the box and get it for me in the evening. I was impressed, but since I had to be on time to pick up the trailer, I decided to borrow a hitch from a friend and let Camco off the hook for overnight delivery and asked them to just ship it the cheapest way possible . It's been three weeks and still doesn't matter. I have to call and see what happened, someone dropped the ball. I'm sure it will work and I may change it to four or five stars. It's a well made coupler but somewhere in China the welder and QC department screwed up and I guess I'm not the only one with a crooked coupler, maybe that's why I didn't get a replacement! Update: I called and yes someone dropped the ball and apologized profusely, they got the part in one night. In the end I still have to give Camco credit for customer service as they would have shipped it overnight if I hadn't let them off the hook. Also, on both calls, the first one after hours, I immediately called a real person and they immediately engaged. So I would now give them 3 stars as the QC should have recognized the problem in the first place.
