It's not as bright as an LED.

For what I use it's ok. It is used on a cargo trailer. It gets its ground from the frame, but in my case it would be nice if there was a second wire for ground. There's a small hole on the back where the ground wire should be, so you should probably seal the hole with silicone to keep water out.
