Does what it's supposed to do but struggles

Overall size and fit quite good. I put 210 MVP on it and it fits great. The 210 weighs about 75 pounds, so being able to roll it around is nice, and being able to roll up the cords and place them on a shelf underneath the welder is nice too. I'm not running gas right now, just flux cored so can't comment on how well it works with a tank but the setup looks good for it. My biggest concern are the screws that attach the shelves to the square tube frames. It's just thin sheet metal on sheet metal and the screw holes are just punched so not very accurate. The supplied screws have threads similar to wood screws. So if you try to join two thin pieces of sheet metal with sloppy holes, they'll either not go in or be too loose. Allows a lot of play. I'm going to drill holes and pierce them and then bolt on the mounting bolts with nuts and washers to make them strong. I don't mind working, but I really shouldn't be doing this on a store-bought device.

Pros
  • Welder
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
