I wanted a "quick connect" for my Milwaukee 18V Cordless Air Inflator and this along with this Milton (S-684-4) 1/4" MNPT Male Tank Valve for a great solution. I can just slip this over the air valve (open flow of course) and it creates a tight connection. My inflation tool instantly locks the existing pressure. Before using the chuck I had to screw the valve in and out using the inflation tool, no air loss when turning big problem with bigger tires but a very big problem with smaller volume tires Very happy with the tee.
