I purchased this specifically to protect the top screen front camera on my iPhone X and was unaware there was no way to cover this camera to install. and still retain the usefulness of the Apple Face ID lidar sensor for quick and easy sign-in with the Face ID login feature. For that I rate this camera cover with 1 star. Other devices like my 2021 MacBook Air and 2021 iPad Air M1 worked fine with the front camera screen setup. But the iPhone X is a complete failure and I wanted to warn others who should know about it before they buy it because I wish I hadn't. Change: 05/30/21. The seller contacted me for the THIRD time asking me to remove my true rating and offering me a $25 bribe to remove it. pathetic. If they just updated their revain list to say that this cheap lens cap would NOT work on the Apple iPhone X or any device with a front lidar camera, I'd happily remove it. I'm not happy about being scammed and would like to warn other iPhone X owners to be careful.
