Review on πŸ” 12V Portable Electric Transfer Pump - Efficiently Extracts and Transfers Oil Fluids, Water for Automotive, Marine, Boat, Diesel, Cars, Motorbikes by Fred Meeks

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Slow and poor wiring, but it works

I got this to do a Porsche Boxster Diff service without removing the cover and was able to luckily suck out all the liquid and then refill with fresh. It also came in handy when topping up the transfer case fluid on my 2011 BMW X3. The two wires with crocodile clips are of very poor quality and very soft, and the shielding of the crocodile clips is weakened. The soldering for a wire was so bad I was able to turn the pump on and off just by bending the wire which wasn't bad but now how it should work. Needless to say I ended up removing the cover, rewiring everything and putting good butt connectors on the wiring to connect directly to the motor and the pump runs fine, slow but good. The pump is comfortable to touch to achieve a smaller volume of liquid. Changes but if you do more than 2 liters you will be there all day, you can feel it!

Pros
  • DIY pump kit is easy to install and widely used in many fields, such as: B.: Car Boat, Diesel Car, Motorcycle, Agricultural Irrigation, Beverage Transfer, Garden Cleaning, Summer Cooling, Industrial Application, DIY and on
Cons
  • Vulgarity
