But it's not a Fluke. Distance measurement is a joke. The break feature that supposedly shows which side the problem is on usually just shows X's on both ends, even when it works. So as a simple cable tester it works, but all the advanced features don't work. For the price with 8 remotes it's worth it. Another really annoying point: batteries drain when not in use. So leave a 9v battery there and it will die after days of thawing, considering both sensor and tester do this it can get expensive. Removing the battery between jobs is obviously a hassle. The sensor is also valued for its price, which means it's very difficult, if not impossible, to distinguish a sound when used in a network box where there are multiple wires running side-by-side, as all to some degree degree ringing. I've had bugs a couple of times with new cables from the box that were fully functional or that were fine too, so it's fine for the price. But at the end of the day, if that's what you do for a living, it's not really stealing.
