I have put on several kinds of window liner, this particular blackout included. I am not new to how these go on. I have never had so many issues trying to get the bubbles out. I'm not talking about the big bubbles these are like tiny little bubbles that do not smooth out. I installed this same liner in 2017 and I had NO issues. The door that goes to my media room has a window on the top half of the door and I wanted pure blackness. So this was installed on an completely inside window. It was cleaned with soap and water. Scraped with a razor blade to insure everything was removed debris wise. Cleaned again with a lint free cloth. Then I followed the instructions for install. It will work for now but I will be buying something else. I am a perfectionist and the tiniest bubble is NOT acceptable. It is complete blackout but it doesn't look good.
