Review on π B&K Precision 1856D Multifunction Counter, 3.5 GHz: A Comprehensive Solution for Advanced Frequency Measurement by Viterbo Dashora
Worth the money but missing some expected features
I've built some test equipment in the past including frequency/period counters but I needed something fast for a recent project and the unit filled the need fast for not much money. The only reason for 4 starts is that the period function only measures a full cycle, not a high or low period or duty cycle. I put these features into my own EDS-52 build in 1985 (surprise B&K missed this :-(
