I accidentally broke a pipe on my truck during service and got this to replace it. It was perfect for my 2006 Hummer H3. All you have to do is loosen the nut that secures the pipe to the engine block and pull the pipe up. It simply slides in and out of the rubber washer in the gear case. You pull it up and put a new one in, then reattach the nut and pipe to the engine block. The liquid didn't leak at all so I didn't have to change it. I also took a rubber washer with me just in case, but it looks like the old one is still fine so I didn't replace it.
