DO NOT BUY! I bought this lens 3 months ago and was so excited to find a great 400mm lens for under $1000 so I bought it! That was my fault! I had to spend $1000 and buy a new one! So when I got it I took it out of the box and checked that it wasn't damaged and was happy until now until I connected it to my camera and took a picture! Every picture is blurry! I'm not stupid, I know this lens should have a lot of light, but in my example with this lens it doesn't matter. I even took it to a very famous camera shop and the guy actually told me that this lens makes him think of a worm banging his insides against a wall! I've given this lens so many chances that I can't even return it now, but that's okay because if I can stop even one person from spending their money on it, then mission accomplished! I'm not saying all of these lenses are like that, I'm just saying I don't like Russian roulette with my money!
