Vivid shade of red, soft, thick and perfect for a throw. I usually use double strands for my quilts, but they are dense and hold the shape of the pattern well. The balls are very small and it takes a lot of yarn to weave a blanket. For example, I am making a size 1 double bed and have already used 24 skeins of this yarn, $80. I only had to order 6 more packs and when everything was ready I spent a whopping $100! If I had bought a different brand/type of yarn it would probably cost around $70. The finished product will definitely look rich, unique and, in my opinion, indescribable.
