GMC apparently changed the hole size for the strut support DURING the 2019 model year. The 2019 Silverado & Sierras has two different sizes of post holes. This fits my 2019 Sierra 3500 HD, although the listing says it fits 2014-2018. Just measure the hole - use a credit card: if it goes in, this is the cap you need. If not, you need the one listed as 2019-current. Verdict: It works, fits snugly, and shows no signs of "blow-out". I think the people who write reviews that it exploded the first time they drove their truck put in the WRONG size plug! Also measure here before you buy.
