I bought two of these and they both had the same problem. It's amazing and perfect for its purpose when it works. The problem is that after using this device for a long time, the product cannot wake up the monitor from sleep mode. The first time I thought the product might be defective, but the second was the same. The manufacturer was able to determine that it was a defective cable or monitor. I don't see what the problem is with the cable or the monitor if they work properly with the splitter disconnected. In other words, when I connect my processor directly to both monitors, both work fine. Something I've noticed when the product isn't working is when I unplug the wires the orange lights stay on as if the wires were still connected. If the splitter is working properly, the lights will turn on when the cable is connected and turn off when the cable is disconnected. I have a Dell Optiplex 790 computer and two Dell monitors. I want the company to find a way to help customers who use their products. Maybe they have a way to fix it by somehow changing the settings on the computer or in their product. I have seen other customers having the same problem.
