I run an online perforated board business that requires me to drill 200-500 holes a week in hardwood with a press. I've had good luck with other Freud products and Forstner shots. Typical steel bits are good for a short time and I was looking for something more permanent which led me to their carbide bits. The overall appearance of the dentition is attractive. Very nice packaging, looks solid. I was impressed when I first received it. However, when I actually drilled the hole, I almost gasped at how many gaps there were. Again and again he tore the veneer completely from the plywood at the edges of the hole. I tested different types of wood and the gap was terrible. If you're looking for a very clean hole, which I was, I wouldn't buy this club. However, I will say that the cutting ability of the bat is impressive. It cuts and drills very smoothly with little to no pressure on the press. It just doesn't leave a clean looking hole, which I desperately needed. I think I'm back to the drawing board!
