Review on 🍽️ Greater Goods Glass Kitchen Scale - Premium Surface for Precise Cooking and Easy Cleaning, Designed in St. Louis (Silver) by Christina Suk

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Accurate but not perfect

The scale appears to be very accurate and works well on actual measurements. It's also very easy to clean. It has rubber feet to keep it in place. The design is modern, but the usability isn't great. There is no backlight, so the screen can be difficult to read at times. The button labels are reflective and color-matched to the scale's surface, making them invisible at some angles. It also includes "4" unit options, but grams and milliliters are functionally the same, and ounces and fluid ounces differ only in that ounces are grouped into pounds if you go over 16. However, there are a few more troubling problems with it. :- The "Units" key was buggy several times, as if an invisible finger was stuck on the key. It will switch to the next unit and the button will no longer work until the scale is turned off and on again. Slightly frustrating as the only options are to restart (and reset) the scale or convert grams to ounces. The scale's first battery died in less than a month, even though I only use it 5 times a week. Overall it's good, especially for the price, but if I were to buy a new scale again I'd probably choose a different option.

Pros
  • Good price
Cons
  • Sad packaging
