I bought this footboard to replace the more expensive footboard that came with the trailer. This wasn't very good although it cost me more money, it froze and was difficult to put down and pick up. This product has been in use for several months now and has been through salt fog. At the moment it's still going up and down very easily and I don't have to struggle with it like the last time, I'm very happy with this step.
