I bought these for barre work because I wanted something that would allow me to move freely and have good coverage that I KNEW my classmates wouldn't shine on. They're definitely doing their job. The inner lining is a godsend for that. Even if it weren't there, the chances of showing a step would still be pretty slim just because of the design. The wide waistband is comfortable and does not exert any unsightly pressure. My only complaint is that the white trim that runs vertically (at a curved angle) is stiff. I really didn't expect it to be a trumpet I guess. This piping does not allow the shorts to follow the exact shape of the body. It's not nice. It is in order. They are designed for sport, not aesthetics. I want them to be low with no piping.
