Review on 📻 Scosche Double DIN Stereo Installation Kit for 2004-2010 BMW X3 E83 by Jeffrey Nunes

Tidy is great, but be prepared for significant permanent design improvements. The finish is very close to OEM but not perfect. Wiring was easy to adapt to OEM and aftermarket stereo. The only major issue is that the steering wheel adapter doesn't let you use the talk button (the one with a picture of a face). The volume and mode/channel buttons work, but you can no longer activate voice from the steering wheel. Rather disappointed. I spoke to a Scosche tech and they basically said just press the button on your phone or radio. If you don't mind this feature, this kit is good. If you're going to buy a good aftermarket radio with lots of voice features, you'll have to turn your back on the road to find a button on the head unit, or find another solution.
