*EDIT** This crimping tool works just as well as the expensive brands. Just for reference, if you want to crimp 6 AWG, set it to 16. Use Southwire #6 and Panduit Blue. The perfect crimp holds firmly and effortlessly. The original rating is below. Haven't had a chance to use this yet, but it looks like it will. Colleagues in my area used this particular model and praised it. It seems to be of good quality and very comparable to the more expensive ones. For the reviews stating that the dimensions are difficult to read, they are all in millimeters rather than the standard color coding as stated on the Ideal and/or Greenlee brands. Will provide an update when I use it.
