Three easy steps. First, dampen a rag, dip the product and make it like a paste. Second, apply to a small area and rub until your fingers hurt. Third, wipe clean and find it looks the same. Repeat this process (switch hands if you can't make a fist anymore) until you've used all of the 1/2 oz of polish. Go to the fourth step. Get up slowly because your knees will hurt. I added the fifth step myself to laugh at myself for believing it would work. I was in the aerospace department at USC in the mid 70's and there was a lot of metallurgy when we were studying aircraft structural design. I think when I ordered this product I knew that the excess heat had altered the molecular structure of the chromium and that no product on planet earth could transform it back. Straight pipes meet silencers. In fairness the product helped little but nothing like a product video showing on exhaust pipes in much worse condition. My guess is that the manufacturer limits the amount of product to 0.5 ounces to run out before you feel like you're eligible to file a carpel tunnel injury claim. I've ordered loads of stuff from Revain as a Prime member and over the past 8 years and have only had to return 2 or 3 items. The return/exchange policy is as simple as can be. I suppose I could ask for a refund on this purchase, but figured I shouldn't reward my own stupidity for thinking it would actually work!
