Product bugs as of August 2018

I received this kit and returned it immediately after trying it thinking it was the only kit that had this problem as I hadn't bothered , to read reviews about him as Makita. It's a good name and was almost 5 stars at the time of purchase. After receiving a replacement set with the same issues, I realized it was just a poor quality product. Calling it a "professional" set is a lie, if I had a career using an impact wrench I certainly wouldn't have those bits you have to pull out of the only working bit holders the kit has (2 extended inserts). bit holder). Contents of the set: - 1' bits on the left side of the set, long bits on the right side of the set. wrong bit size in extended bit holders - 5 magnetic bit holders mm) bits. They are very wobbly and the bits come out easily as there is no other locking mechanism other than a weak magnet that only makes direct contact with the 25.4mm bits. The only screwdriver that works with this set is 1/4", not sure why 5/16" and 3/8" were included. All of these wrenches are virtually useless for any application, forcing the use of 2 extra long bit holders - (2) Extra Long Bit Holders (2-3/8' and 6') - are 9mm deep with the retaining clip DEFECTIVE MANUFACTURER: These both holders are slightly smaller in diameter for 1" bits, require force to be inserted and can only be removed with pliers or a vise. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO INSERT A BIT > 1" INTO THESE LONG BIT HOLDERS. They get stuck and you have to clamp the bit holder in a vise and break the locking clip to get the bits out. The 1 inch bits are loose because you broke the locking clip. Overall, my only recommendation is not to buy these beats, but to use another brand. At the same price, there is no reason to choose this defective kit over another. Anyone who thought that the screwdrivers are only 2 mm deep has lost their minds. 9mm (to the blue line) is the correct depth, but only two holders with this depth are too small in diameter. It's like they can't get any of their measurements right. One reviewer suggested pouring oil into the extended bit holders to make bit removal easier. Do not do that. The bits are factory lubricated and the more lubricated they are, the harder it will be for you to cause your pliers to slip off. I can't believe Makita didn't test this kit before they put their name on it. Either that or it's fake.
