Easy to work with, like all Sculpey products I've used - very soft, feels like a Sculpey III. The color of the Living Doll clay stays great - if it darkens or otherwise changes color after baking, it's almost imperceptible, which is one of the reasons I prefer this product to the original version. The color stays the same even after repeated baking. Another point of comparison is the easy processing of the sculpture after firing. The baked material feels softer to me than the original and I wondered if I baked it correctly, but the carving, sanding, etc. seems easier and more accurate. Worth the higher price!
