At first glance these drills seem to be excellent. The longer adjustable self-tapping tip looked exactly what we were looking for. But the steel was very poorly cast. The shaft was broken twice with a 3/8 inch cordless drill. And these bits are for much heavier work like 1/2 inch drill bits. If you look at the fractures you can see new fractures, but you can also see where the metal was miscast and is a different color, not shiny like a fresh fracture. We called the number on the package and customer service was absolutely unhelpful. We were told to contact Revane but by the time we even used that bit the return time had passed. Do yourself a favor and judging by the fact that it's not a heavy piece for sale here, it's well done. It's not like this.
