Can protect casts, as well

I used this to cover a cast that went from wrist to above my elbow that needed to be kept dry. Worked great, was able to apply by myself and remove by myself. Because you're putting your arm in plastic, it does get hot, but you stay dry if you pull tight enough and don't leave it on so long you start really sweating.

Pros

works great and pretty simple to put on, way better than umbrella bags

Cons

The gloves are not comfortable to wear for long periods of time
