Works with workaround

It did go over the dressing. Couldn't get closure band to work. Used a rubber band. Will try a Gear Tie next for easy reliable closure

Pros
  • {}
Cons
  • The gloves may cause sweating and discomfort during extended use

Plastic closure bands are difficult to use

Both my wrists are fractured & in casts, so I suspect these bags would likely work better if only covering 1 arm. The bags do have fingers & thumb, which is better than similar products. But, the plastic closure bands are very awkward to use & do not release like they should. Of course they would likely work better if you were only covering 1 arm. I still got water down into my casst even with the bands pulled very tight if I get directly under the shower. Still better than other similar…

Pros
  • Meets all expectations.
Cons
  • The water-seal band does not fit snugly on all arm sizes, causing water to seep through

Good product-Details in post

I've been using various homespun wraps on my PICC line with good results but required help to apply. This product allows me to shower independently. It is a long plastic glove with a separate slider plastic strap around the top that you cinch this tightly and fold over the excess glove length. No leaking if cinched tightly with strap, It is difficult to work with using your left hand as the finger/glove portions are huge! Since this covers your entire hand and arm, you must wash your hand/arm…

Pros
  • the belt/tightener is the key. It works. Keeps the whole arm dry in the shower.
Cons
  • The gloves are not suitable for individuals with hand or wrist injuries

For the most part works well

They do work but sometimes you get one that leaks at the fingers on the first use. Usually if hung up to dry they can be used several times

Pros
  • Used it to protect my arm cast. It kept it dry. Should get more gloves for the price.
Cons
  • The water-seal band is not flexible, making it uncomfortable to wear for extended periods

A good option for keeping PICC lines dry.

The gloves are the best and fastest option I've found for keeping my PICC line dry. I wrap my arm first with Glad Press N' Seal (no taping, bend elbow while wrapping) as a precaution. When I tighten the strap, I bend my arm and leave a little extra space in the fingertips to keep my fingers from pressing on the fragile glove fingertips. Also, my gloved hand only holds soap, etc. and washes parts that can't be reached with the ungloved hand. Hair washing is also one-handed. My first one lasted 6

Pros
  • Thank you
Cons
  • The glove leaked easily and the clamp fell apart. I had to use a glove inside the glove to keep dry.

Good idea. - my new review

Good idea. The strap works great but the gloves do not hold well. You only get one use out of them the fingers need to be more rugged.

Pros
  • LARGE COVERAGE AREA: 34" sleeve-style glove made from waterproof material covers hand, wrist, elbow, and arm
Cons
  • The gloves may cause discomfort or pain when wearing them for a long time

Great glove if your wound dressing is small.

It is great once the size of your dressing is diminished and you can fit your fingers comfortably into it. However, if your hand is heavily wrapped, or if you have a cast, you won't be able to get your hand into it. Once you can though, it works like a dream, because you can use your fingers freely and feel things. It is so much better than putting a garbage bag over your hand and trying to tape it up. Takes a lot less time to put on too. It was a lifesaver for the 3 weeks that I needed to use…

Pros
  • Great moisture protection for bathing, washing dishes, etc.
Cons
  • Don't expect to use them to last and keep your hands dry for long.Comes with just one band.

This product works very well for my needs to covering my PICC line dressing. It is the best product that I've used that limits the water getting into the PICC area. Those clear adhesive squares are difficult for me to affix by myself, so this glove is perfect.

Pros
  • A great product that does exactly as advertised.
Cons
  • The gloves are not suitable for children

Good Product on my review.

This was fairly easy to use. I was able to get it on by myself. You do need to be careful about getting the strap tight and making sure the plastic is laying flat under it. I'm at the smallest size to fit the large glove, and there was quite a bit of extra material around my upper arm to gather. The first time I used it, some water got in. Fortunately it wasn't enough to get inside the PICC line incision, it simply moistened the top of the tape. I gave it a second try and really took my time…

Pros
  • This worked well for my husband's pic line.
Cons
  • The gloves are not suitable for individuals with larger arms

Good in Theory ONLY

I was so excited when the hospital gave me these after placing a picc line. First of all, the hospital said to make sure that no one takes my blood pressure on this arm or take blood from it separate from the picc and definitely not to allow a tourniquet to be placed on it. I followed the directions exactly. The directions tell you to try to put your finger under the band to see if it's placed correctly. You have to tighten this thing pretty tight which ends up tighter than a tourniquet. Well I

Pros
  • Safe for use on both adults and children, making it a versatile option
Cons
  • The gloves may not fit properly on individuals with irregularly shaped hands or fingers

Can protect casts, as well

I used this to cover a cast that went from wrist to above my elbow that needed to be kept dry. Worked great, was able to apply by myself and remove by myself. Because you're putting your arm in plastic, it does get hot, but you stay dry if you pull tight enough and don't leave it on so long you start really sweating.

Pros
  • works great and pretty simple to put on, way better than umbrella bags
Cons
  • The gloves are not comfortable to wear for long periods of time

Cheaply Made: my feedback

Nice that they send 3 of them but all three began to leak at the hand area right away. I’m using an old bread bag now and it’s much sturdier! Don’t waste your money.

Pros
  • NO ADHESIVES: Cleverly designed cast and wound shower cover utilizes a Water-Seal Band with a simple auto-locking buckle
Cons
  • The water-seal band may leak water even when properly fitted

AWESOME PRODUCT best in my review

I love this product. I sustained a 2nd degree burn on my forearm. My doctor suggested using the AquaGuard Glove. Easy to put on and secure with the band. Make sure you pull it tight and LOCK IT. I used this for 6 weeks and never had any water get onto my arm while showering. I highly recommend.

Pros
  • Allows individuals with casts to safely shower and keep their cast dry
Cons
  • The water-seal band may leak water into the cast or bandage, causing discomfort or infection
