My boys are going from size 6 to 7 and this jacket fits just like it should. It can be draped and closed and is also suitable for the little ones. That's the right level of warmth to be over the windbreaker they wore when the weather first turned and it wasn't quite time for the down jacket. It drains water well on the foggiest, wettest mornings and the little compass on the sleeve is the icing on the cake for my boys who love these jackets. The blue is fun and bright, and the hood actually hangs slightly over their faces for protection.
