I bought this product with the idea of getting rid of the growing paperwork. Right out of the box I was hooked and started digitizing my files like crazy. I managed to dismantle a complete closet. So I should be happy with this product, right? NOT CORRECT! I came back 2 weeks later to scan more documents and found that the program wanted me to sign up for a paid subscription now to use this stupid thing. Why would I spend $300 on a scanner and then pay a monthly subscription to use this stupid thing? I contacted their "support" and they said I get one year free then I have to pay for the service. 1. I've only had this thing for 3 months, so why can't I log in and get my files back? (No Answer). I was told I would have to use outdated software that they no longer support in order to use the device. 2. Offer this software in a box and then sell your stupid subscription services if I want to see my files on the go. What I don't have, I have Dropbox for! Save yourself the hassle and expense, it's just a glorified scanner without its expensive software, and customer support is almost non-existent. My paper weight is $300. PS I bought this stupid thing in August for $300, now it's down to $180, save your money anyway, don't buy this!
