Soft white becomes uncomfortable

I have been buying red heart yarn in soft white for many years. It makes beautiful Afghans. I received this huge ball and instead of the creamy color I'm used to, I got a yarn that looks like they changed the dye recipe to give the yarn a gray tint. They only managed to make it look dirty. I'm using it in a patchwork rug that will be in the garage. I almost had a red heart.
