Honda 2010 Civic OEM Filter

Filter is an original part, perfect fit Difficult to remove and replace as there is not much space, I can access through the top part although some people say you can through the bottom part I feel much more difficult. After removing the upper air box and filter and setting them aside (without disconnecting the wiring harness), loosen only the rear air duct clamp, pull the front air duct out of the box, and then remove the spring clips and wires that attach the hoses attached to the box you now have access to the clamp filter. 10mm screw, then remove the front inlet hoses from the steel pipe (don't disconnect the hoses from the filter yet), then remove the spring clip from the back of the hose (very difficult), firm access, pull on the filter to remove the filter and hose from rear steel tube. After transferring the hoses to the new filter, I used a needle vise to slightly compress the spring clip on the rear hose to fit the clip onto the steel rear tube. t burr. Please note that if you reinstall the filter before installing the rear hoses (very important) after the rear rubber hose is correctly attached to the steel pipes, the filter can only move in one direction because the filter clip will not fit attached, reconnect any hoses that were removed . and reinstall the filter clip and airbox, overhaul the gearbox (about 3 liters of Honda fluid) Done. Took me about 2 hours
