Exactly what I needed!

I changed this filter on my 09 Accord because the box hasn't been serviced for years. I decided that if I change it, flush the system with a new fluid and put a new filter in it. Honda does not recommend a new filter for reasons unknown to me, but in my opinion a new filter should be fitted every 75,000-100,000 miles. But the hardest part is removing the old one because Honda uses clamps, but then again you can get stainless steel screw-on clamps that work great without a headache or rust and…

Quick and dirty replacement for 2006 Acura TSX

Replaced at 128,000 miles on our 2006 Acura TSX. Photos are attached. Ignore the yellow color from the saw blade. The rest comes from the transmission. At least on the TSX it helps to remove the throttle body with the airbox hose for better access to the filter. For removing hose clamps; Using needle nose pliers parallel to the transmission filter hoses, squeeze all 3 tabs on each hose clamp and pry the clamp away from the filter. Remove the 10mm screw and remove the mounting bracket. Pull out…

I changed a lot of them, it's better to buy Magnefine.

Does anyone even know the supplier that Honda uses for them? They change suppliers and sometimes consumers will NEVER know about it. You just believe blindly. Therefore, after years of use, I consider them the basis for proper transmission filtering. I cut them open and mine almost got shot at around 25-30k. I have always placed a neodymium magnet on the outside of the pre-filter for added protection to prevent iron/steel particles from getting back inside. However, the Magnefine has an…

Honda 2010 Civic OEM Filter

Filter is an original part, perfect fit Difficult to remove and replace as there is not much space, I can access through the top part although some people say you can through the bottom part I feel much more difficult. After removing the upper air box and filter and setting them aside (without disconnecting the wiring harness), loosen only the rear air duct clamp, pull the front air duct out of the box, and then remove the spring clips and wires that attach the hoses attached to the box you now

Suitable for 2013 Honda Fit Sport.

Ideal for Honda Fit 2013 Sport. Some of the videos I saw said the battery box and tray should be removed as the filter is on the bottom. On my fit, the filter was mounted on the transmission just behind the battery box, so you only have to remove the battery and positive terminal, not the compartment. You'll also need to remove the air intake assembly, which is just a couple of screws, a sensor connector and a steel air hose, and loosen the main clamp around the throttle body, tilt the right…
