So I was a bit hesitant but this is the only rice cooker with all the features I wanted at the price I was willing to pay. It replaced the aluminum one that was over 40 years old. I bought it because it's stainless steel, the lever is a bit long for extra leverage, and it has three heads so I can use it for everything from mashed potatoes and parsnips to gnocchi. Throw spaetzle into the water. I am very happy. The construction is solid, very easy to clean with a plastic dish brush and works very well. A cold baked potato easily goes through, while a hot one slides on like butter. Parsnips, turnips, no problem. It also hangs beautifully on my dish rack with hooks without opening or dangling. I don't think I would change anything about that. This is a great rice maker for under $25 that has a number of uses you would take a meat grinder for. I can't justify paying more than $25 for something this simple. I can't imagine how it can break, if you look at the pictures you'll see what I mean. So you will have it for a long time if you take care of it. If you've spent over an hour looking for one of these, I can safely say you probably won't regret it.
