Review on Marble Pastry Cutting Inches Rolling by Jasmine Davis

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Nice needle but they shouldn't burn the name into the wood

For a long time I thought it was my fault that my dough rarely came out round. It didn't stop me from sleeping at night, but it annoyed me that I was missing out on something so seemingly elementary about working with the test. I decided to try the French lapel pin and voila! On the day of arrival I baked an apple pie and rolled it in two rounds! I've always used classic pencils with handles and bearings. Not anymore, at least when I need ammo. This is a beautiful lapel pin, smooth as satin. Seems like a great turnaround. My only complaint is that the Ebuns name was burned into one ending. Not only was it unsightly, it was burned unevenly, ending too deeply, leaving sharp edges that were ground down. It is also filled with flour. I don't understand why so many Revain sellers feel compelled to put their name on the product itself, be it rolling pins, phone cases, scarves, whatever. It's always obvious, never subtle and in this case actually damaged the product. Now I need to hard sand this area which will remove the wax coating. I thought her name was just printed otherwise I wouldn't have bought this.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • thin
