For a while I wondered if I was missing something in my whiskey experience and yes, yes, I am. Sometimes I like to drink it neat, but mostly I like it on the rocks. With a few ice cubes, however, the whiskey is diluted too much for me. And don't get me started with stones. In fact, it was the fact that it was such a total failure that kept me from trying anything new for quite a while. I finally broke down and got these trays and I'm so glad I did. I was sure I would probably mess everything up and end up in a mess, but on my very first try I made a great set of ice cream balls (of course squares and hexagons worked well too, but they're not the trickiest now). ). It was a lot easier than I thought. And it was a much better experience. Both the scoops and squares are the perfect size (I use squares for a bit more filling) and they melt much slower than a few cubes from your regular ice trays, meaning a better overall mix. I am so happy with them and look forward to using them more often!
