High energy. commercial quality.

I have been using Ubiquiti for many years and several models. I bought them for my company's lab network and referred a few reseller friends to Ubiquiti WAPs. Their value for money is unmatched by Ubiquiti products. Ubiquiti's long-range versions have amazing range. In large rooms, Ubiquiti Hotspots can really shine. as a single point of access. Devices connect to the best performing (possibly closest) access point. ONE thing to know before buying Ubiquiti: you don't control devices simply by connecting to them directly (e.g. with a web browser pointing to 192.168.0.1). You need to download and install a small utility to manage access points. Oddly enough, this requires Python to be installed and logged in as an administrator. It's a minor annoyance, but understandable given the power of the grid and the power of what you control. Also, set up the network once and then let it run forever. That way you don't have to log in all the time. Administrator's note: There are many people on the Ubiquiti forums who do not understand the device password and control panel password. By default, devices share a common username and password. You set your own system-wide administrator password in the control panel software. After "granting" the control panel to the hotspot, it will receive an administrator password.
