I travel a lot and need two screens. These are definitely durable. I've dropped them a few times and they haven't cracked or broken. I've had them for a little over 8 months. I didn't pack them in my suitcase but they pack easily in a bag with a laptop. They are light. Everything is plastic outside, but very durable. I would recommend them to any other portable display. They flicker sometimes, but they're not meant to be on all the time like a regular desktop screen. Just turn them off when not in use as they don't have an on/off switch. The flickering is minimal and will definitely stop after they get a proper rest. Using 1 screen with a laptop is acceptable on an airplane if you have space, but is not recommended if you have privacy concerns. Definitely great at the airport while waiting for flights. Really quick and easy setup. I recommend being very careful with USB cables. I see how they can bend the USB connection resulting in malfunction or inoperability. I had this problem. I recommend not pulling or tearing the connection when disconnecting. Be careful. All in all the best money I've ever spent.
