Pacific Laser Systems and Fluke (subsidiary) are respected companies and this laser level shows why. It's durable, bright, self-leveling and easy to use. It claims to be accurate to within 1/8th of an inch at 30 feet and it feels right in use. The range is 100 feet, but you don't get anything like this outdoors without a detector. Indoors, I don't have a 100ft run to test it, but it appears to be based on shorter distances. The kit includes a floor stand, mounting bracket and large storage/transport case. For those not very familiar with laser levels, this particular type of level will NOT draw lines on the wall. It has 5 dot points: one up, one down, one forward, and one to each side. This allows for moving locations from one wall to another, from ceiling to floor (or vice versa), framing the layout including ideal 90 degree angles, etc. However, it is more difficult to use for many homeowners, such as: B. aligning picture frames, when a line along the entire wall makes the job instantly child's play. .However, if you create layouts that are suitable for level 5 points, you can hardly go wrong with this. It's really well made and very easy to use.
