Review on Bruntmor 4-Quart Fire Red Cast Iron Moroccan Tagine | Cooking Pot with Silver Knob | Enameled Base and Cone-Shaped Ceramic Lid | Ideal for Baking, Frying | Oven and Dishwasher Safe by Mike Castro

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Nice pot, the replacement works wonderfully.

UPGRADE to 5 stars Received a replacement and very happy with the tagine pot. He has none of the 1st pot problems. Very beautiful, versatile and I am very satisfied with the quality. Original Rating; Very interesting pot/pan. I'm not sure if mine is working properly. Upon opening the product packaging, I immediately noticed white particles inside the pot. I have no idea what it was. Everything looked fine after cleaning and I've used it a few times for small, simple things. And tonight I made a simple stew, nothing exotic, just beef, veggies, and veggie broth. I've learned to be careful with spices! Except for the fact that I put too much salt in it, everything worked out great! However, after I finished and cleaned as described, I found that the inside of the pot was discolored in various colors, particularly blue. I didn't expect the enameled cast iron surface to discolor like this.

Pros
  • EASY TO HOLD AND HANDLE. A cast iron tagine pan weighs 30% less than other heavy cast iron or metal cookware. Its light weight makes it very EASY TO CLEAN. The pot is also dishwasher safe, you can also hand wash it with soap and water.
Cons
  • Infinitely sluggish
