I bought these firefighting gloves as a volunteer firefighter. I used these gloves when I had to put out a fire in the back of a 40ft shipping container. The air was hot to breathe and everything in the container was very hot. These gloves were undamaged and I felt no heat through them when we pulled the burning material out of the container. Various gloves have been used in the past and one usually has to choose between protection and mobility. These gloves gave me the ability to use my hands with great dexterity while protecting them from heat and fire. I definitely recommend them.
