The measurements given in the description are wrong but what I sold had a picture of the top of the filter, had the correct part number and was also the current date of manufacture. It came in Kohler packaging just like my OEM filter. The only difference was the outer strap, normal metal, this one is plastic. The paper filter mesh appears to have the same number of pleats (I did NOT count them all by pinching about an inch). I'll know how well it works as the ground thaws/dries up. By the way, after the normal filter was blown out with compressed air and the dust clouds flew away, the green pre-filter was washed and lubricated with oil, the engine worked perfectly. Be sure to lightly spray filter oil (available from K&N) on the pre-filter.
