First of all, this looks a lot better in person than many reviews say. I didn't care what it looked like. It was for our baby bearded dragon and he loved to climb and jump on it. Like I said, it didn't take long. If you feed the little insects whatever you put in this tank, they will be left behind. We feed crickets and dubia roaches and we had to terribly prevent them from getting through every crack behind the wall as there are gaps in the back for wires and bugs can climb that wall. We tried blocking it with a rolled up reptile blanket, which mostly helped against the crickets, but found a colony of dubia roaches behind it last night after just a week. While it looked great, it's more trouble than it's worth. There were even crickets that climbed the wall and then got to the top of the trellis and tried to get out. Which made it difficult for our dragon to hunt them down. If you're using a reptile that doesn't need insects, be sure to give it a try. If it weren't for the bearded dragons, I would avoid that.
