Review on πŸ”Š Pyle Pro PAHT6: Advanced 4-Driver Tweeter System for Unmatched Audio Experience by Rick Rogers

Revainrating 5 out of 5

When used correctly super

These are very good tweeters when used correctly. If you just connect them to a pair of speakers, they might sound great or harsh or hard to hear depending on the efficiency of the speakers you connect them to. I use them in a three amp system with an X-Air mixer to feed subwoofers (four 18" Yamaha), main speakers (four 15" + Yamaha horns) and super tweeters (two PAHT6) fed by a series of corona amplifiers. When I just plugged the Pyle Piezo into my mains I hardly heard it because the Yamahas are so efficient. With independent control over each amplifier input, they can be seamlessly blended into the sound field and adjusted to add just the right amount of treble. I also add an equalizer to each channel separately. I use piezos to just add that top edge to make the sound field more open. If you ever listen to them exactly as they come out, not much "music" will get through them. Basically, these are higher harmonics from instruments, sticks hitting cymbals, and cymbal sounds in general. However, when mixed properly, they add exactly what I was looking for to my sound field. I also found that I ended up using a fine power level control on them almost like a treble control. I have a Crown XLI-1500 amp designed for them and haven't encountered any problems with their controls.
