I wanted to spend a lot of money to upgrade my speakers. I wasn't getting what I wanted out of my tweeters. So I bought one of these to test it out. These are very good tweeters when used correctly. If you just connect them to a pair of speakers, they might sound great or harsh or hard to hear depending on the efficiency of the speakers you connect them to. I use them in a three amp system with an X-Air mixer to feed subwoofers (four 18" Yamaha), main speakers (four 15" + Yamaha horns) and super tweeters (two PAHT6) fed by a series of corona amplifiers.
