after many shots on the SAW model I didn't want to burn a dual layer disc anymore. I bet I made 25 coasters in the last year. The SAF model kept coming back with a burning message overflow/underflow. I disabled screen savers, closed all open programs except Toast and moved them to the SSD, writing at 4x speed. 4X is the slowest setting and keeps saying that data isn't being received fast enough to be written to - really with an SSD? Other discs I have burn at 12x or more. Like many users, the Plextor isn't yesterday's dependable optical drive. I'm back and will order another brand. A complete waste of money.
